Nwosu said he started his nonprofit, the Uchenna Nwosu Foundation, for opportunities just like this one, to give back to students. His gift, along with other grants collected by the school, will help the students at Narbonne participate safely in sports by providing injury treatment, prevention and education. The Nwosu Athletic Training Room at Narbonne High School.
With Nwosu’s support, Carson Library will recruit its own MBK Peer Advocate. Nwosu encourages applicants: “This is a great opportunity for a young person of color to support Library projects, create programs that impact youth and the greater community, and gain real-world skills that can be applied to school and work.”
With the holiday season in full swing, Seahawks linebacker Uchenna Nwosu joining forces to lend a helping hand to others in need. In an effort to provide more resources to the youth this winter, the pair is collaborating with nonprofit youth foster care advocate Treehouse to host his annual winter "Coat Drive"!
